Air Conditioning Training and Assessment

We are an IMI training and assessment centre and can offer F-Gas training onsite.

On 4th July 2010 the European F Gas Regulation EC 842/2006 came into force. All mechanics and technicians using mobile air conditioning service equipment must be assessed and certified to a recognised DEFRA standard. This also includes anyone ordering refrigerant gas.
Autocraft offer on-site IMI training and accreditation to meet the required standard. The course is designed to both train and inform and includes a delegate handbook, registration and certification.

HFO-1234yf Safety & Awareness Training:

Employers have a duty of care to their technicians, staff and customers. Technicians should be qualified and receive specific 1234yf training to comply with minimum insurance and health & safety requirements.

This standard outlines minimum content requirements for such training programs. Training programs designed in accordance with this standard are not intended to ensure or assess the technical skills of technicians regarding the diagnosis and repair of motor vehicle air conditioners. Rather, the goal of such programs is to provide information to technicians about safely and awareness in handling refrigerants.

Autocraft can train on a one-to-one basis or as a group either on-site at your premises or at a convenient training location. Please contact us for more information and discounts for group bookings.
