It is a legal requirement to have F-Gas Certification if you are carrying out work involving R134a refrigerant.

You also now need to provide your F-Gas certificate number when ordering R134a.

F-Gas assessments are completed in two parts, a hands-on practical assessment followed by a computer-based exam.

The average time to complete an assessment is around 2 hours with 35 minutes allowed for the computer-based exam. Autocraft Equipment Ltd provide on site F-Gas assessments meaning you can complete the assessment during your normal working day. Once you have finished the exam you will receive your result immediately followed by your IMI F-Gas certificate in the post.
