Important News!

Windows 10 Support Ending in 2025:

Microsoft will cease support for Windows 10 in October 2025.

While this post is  focused on TEXA equipment, it could affect other devices you use, so being informed now could save you trouble later.

 

While many devices can upgrade to Windows 11 for free, older models may not meet the system requirements.

Product Upgrades to Windows 11

  • AXONE VOICE and AXONE NEMO MINI Products:

These products will be automatically
upgraded to Windows 11 free of charge over the coming months. Microsoft will manage this
upgrade directly.

 

  • AXONE NEMO 2 Platforms:

TEXA is actively working on support for AXONE NEMO 2
platforms. These units will either receive an upgrade to Windows 11 or benefit from “LongTerm” security support from Microsoft. We are awaiting confirmation on this and will provide
further details.

 

  • 1st Generation AXONE NEMO Units

The hardware and Windows licenses for the 1st generation AXONE NEMO units are not
compatible with a Windows 11 upgrade or “Long-Term” security support. We will be sending
out more information in the coming weeks regarding available options for these units.

Spring is in full swing, the sun is out and our engineers are busy delivering and servicing machines all over the country.

Recently we had a break from the normal to attend the Lamma Show at The NEC. Doug, Dom, Miles & George travelled up to Birmingham early Tuesday morning to set up our stand. They had a great few days meeting new and existing customers, chatting about all things Agri and contruction related, and putting some names to faces.

March 2022 – F-Gas

Spring is on its way and Aircon season is nearly here! So, this month we are talking about F-Gas Certification.

Did you know it is a legal requirement to have F-Gas Certification if you are carrying out work involving R134a refrigerant? You also now need to provide your F-Gas certificate number when ordering R134a.

F-Gas assessments are completed in two parts, a hands-on practical assessment followed by a computer-based exam. The average time to complete an assessment is around 2 hours with 35 minutes allowed for the computer-based exam. Autocraft Equipment Ltd provide on site F-Gas assessments meaning you can complete the assessment during your normal working day. Once you have finished the exam you will receive your result immediately followed by your IMI F-Gas certificate in the post.
